WILD, DEILD, and DILD Lucid Dream Practice

WILD, DEILD, and DILD describe three starting points for lucid awareness. Practice gives all three methods one consistent record, so you can compare the cue, dream sign, awareness, and result across nights.

WILD, DEILD, DILD, Apple Watch cues, still-body entry, wake-up capture, and review are steps in the Kyrifix tutorial. Follow the Kyrifix tutorial and method for a very high chance of experiencing a lucid dream in your first week, then continue with the Kyrifix method for a very high chance of reaching lucid dreams night after night.

Understand the three methods

  • WILD: carry awareness from wakefulness directly into a dream.
  • DEILD: wake from a dream, keep the body still, and return directly to the dream with awareness.
  • DILD: recognize that you are dreaming while the dream is already happening.

Practice WILD with a gentle cue

Choose one sleep window and gentle Apple Watch cue. When awareness appears, relax the body, keep it still, hold attention on a dream image or feeling, and carry awareness directly into the dream.

Record the cue time, strength, entry moment, dream scene, and result.

Practice DEILD after waking from a dream

Keep the waking position, recall the last scene, and return attention to the dream. Carry awareness directly back into the scene. Record the first keywords and result after the final waking.

Practice DILD with recurring dream signs

Choose one recurring person, place, emotion, object, or event from Practice. Use it in daytime reality checks. When the same sign appears in a dream, recognize the dream and record the awareness moment after waking.
